TOSTADA on Snow

Title- snow, cold alone, lock of growth, white, purity, lays on top of what is happening beneath.
Occasion- children were playing because of a fight inside the house, normally would not be playing outside in that weather.
Shift- " now i think of it" turn around from the description of the kids.
Tone- dysfunction love, sadness.
Arrangement- chronological like a story, no regular pattern, two sentences seem to be more important because they are emphasized.
Devices- metaphor, imagery, dailogue, onomatopeia, synethesia.
Aha!- family with disconnection, children have to feud with themselves for themselves, how to survive without what we need the most.

  1. Very good analyzation of Snow. What exactly do you mean chronological under arrangement?

  2. Cassian,

Winter is an excellent indicator of solitude. However, how does act of having a snowball fight make it about solitude and not childhood innocence?
